I suspect it's a feature - a single ScreamerNet node now appears to be multithreaded and uses all available CPU resources to render i.e. you no longer have to run 2 nodes to render with dual processors - pretty cool (if it's not a bug ;)).

Ah - I got it - LightWave now seems to detect how many CPUs you have when it installs and auto-sets the threads to the appropriate setting in LW8.cfg - ScreamerNet references this so by default it'll use 8 threads if you've got a dual, Hyper-Threaded PC (cool - didn't know it could do that). If you need to use less threads on a ScreamerNet node (if for example some plugins don't like it) then you have to change the thread settings in LW8.cfg...
