View Full Version : enveloped deformation?

I have a problem about deforming objects.
I have two fairly plain endomorhs saved in a spherical object and I am animating them in layout. What I'd like to do is to add a classical 2D animation style biased squash towards the direction the spherical object is moving.

To do this I need to squash the object but since squashing is recalculated along with rotation I can't keep the object constantly squashed, conforming to the deformation.

Shortly, I guess I need something like a deformation envelope if it exists at all.

If not, please tell me a simple workaround.

Look at Kretin's (Jonny Gorden) eye setup tutorial on the LW website. That should do what you want.
