Has anyone used LW7.5 on the new PowerBook G4/1GHz 15.2 TFT Titanium. I'm thinking of purchasing one, & fill it up with 1GB RAm and wondered how lightwave performs on it?

I'm using a Powerbook with those specs as my "on the road" computer. Without getting into a PC vs. Mac debate, I can simply say that LW runs very well on this machine. :)

it runs smooth on my laptop either:
266mmx
95mb ram

off course i can forget about hi-res radiosity and hi-mesh objects. but everything else is smooth.

ps:if I had enough $ I will buy the new powerbook instantly!

I run LW on my Powerbook G4/1ghz. I have 1GB of RAM, and it runs quite well. OpenGL previews are about as smooth as they are on my G4/800DP w/ GeForce3Ti 64MB card.

I'm using a PowerBook G4 with 1G Ram and I love it. Some stuff has been wiggy (sound had broke already). LW is pretty stable for me. I say go for it!
