Let's get this started! I miss my LA LWUG! I liked the Sunday afternoon times they had there, but I'm sure just about any time could work!:)

Would love to join this group weekends..Sunday evenings would work. Weeknights can be fairly easily arranged if we had set night.

Sunday evenings won't work for me, but add me to your email list so I can know what you guys are up to here in Sacto.
I'm also a web designer, so if you need web space for the user group website, let me know.

Ahhh,

This is great, unfortunately I am now living in the bay area to finish up my BA degree in modeling and animation.

I will be done next summer and will keep in touch, maybe I will be back in town.

Good luck with everything.

I'll be there, as long as I have no other family committments.

We need a place where laptops, food, and drinks can co-exist. :)

I would like to see this group become non-software specific. This would allow many people in the region the opportunity to discuss 3D animation, without being concerned about what software package they use or don't use. This would also open a few doors to sponsorship from other companies. Sponsorship such as educational seminars, and door prizes for attending meetings, etc. My two cents.

totally agree on this.

As far as location, I'm currently thinking of a classroom at the private school I work at. Nothing fancy, but it already has 4 imacs I think we could use.

And as I said earlier, we're still slated for:
Sunday June 13, 2004
6:00pm

Cheers, and looking forward to it. As always, input is welcome.

also bring,
a laptop if you have one and wish to "follow along" on applicable parts of the night.
(I only have a few computers running Demo mode of 8)
Bring your LW8 USB dongle (and PC License Key), if you wish to not run demo mode on our few computers.
