KC Library has it on their netlibrary... I just learned about netlibrary today - FREAKING COOL CONCEPT - pdf books available online 24/7 for free! :)

Go to
http://www.kclibrary.org/resources/weblinks/minorcat.cfm?cid=51&maj=Library%20Databases&ckid=582&min=Electronic%20Books then click netlibrary do a search for lightwave and you will be able to get your hands on Lightwave 3D Character Animation... you may or may not need to sign up for a netlibrary account to view it... I think that I got in without one, but then signed up for the heck of it because it's free! :)

EDIT: if you go to http://www.librarypoint.org you can sign up for a free account at netlibrary... which gets you access to the 30000+ books, not just the 3000+ that public can see. :) ;) That means you get about 3 lightwave books instead of just the one...
