Question to the SCSI Specialists: I have a dual channel SCSI Controller with 8 72GB Disks, for safety purposes I decided to have a "x" and "y" disk, each has 4 striped 72GB ScSI). For now I do have an adaptec 160DualChannel CONTROLLER. Function is ok.
(ATTO 320 unfortunately has not functioned)
With the ATT0320DualChannel Controller I reached, (ran autoconfig) a data rate of 134MB/s ("x"=134MB/s and "y" =134MB/s ) which is same with current adaptec 160 Dual Channel Controller. Can it be?

Am I under equipped with a 160SCSI Controller ?
What do I win actually with 320 Controller in the VT3 environment?

Your results are what one would expect IF the drives were U160, whether the controller was U160 or U320. On the other hand, if the drives are in fact U320, then the results are quite low, and another cause must be sought - cabling comes to mind...
