I am creating a scene that comprises of 20 television sets, with a short animated texture on each screen. Each screen plays back exactly the same sequence, but is offset by one frame so that all tv's appear different.

Logic dictates that one would merely change the in/out points in the image editor on an instanced sequence - instead if making 20 difference animated sequences.

When you make an image seqence instance in the image editor, it blanks out the time controls.

Is this just a huge mis-sight on Newteks behalf, or is there another way????

Hi Excalibu,

Instances are exact, frame for frame and time for time locked copies.
What you want is to create copies.

You can also just change the offset (to a negative value) for every sequence, and, for example, set them to loop.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks Mike.

Was hoping there was a way without manipulating the source!

Hopefully they add this "extra" functionality in v8...
