I am sorry but I just cant afford the SCSI setup the drive costs just blow my budget at this point.

I know I will be loosing performence and I also know that many people have done IDE raids. What about a SATA raid? Has anyone done them little faster then IDE not as fast as SCSI seems like a nice comprimise.

What do I need for HDD space? Join to set up a RAID 5.
Will I be ok with (4) 200 gigs? (gives me 600ish gigs w/RAID5)
Is that way over kill?

They have been getting great results with IDE drives.
I still use SCSI, but sometimes I wonder why when I hear these guys results.
