View Full Version : Character animation render question...

Ke.. I'm a noob to this character animation thing..

Thanks to Timothy Albee's book, Proton's walk cycle and a couple tips from the Animator's survival guide, I finally have my first animated Krabbit character doing a simple, prolly somewhat crude walk.. in LW..
.. but when I go to render the animation to save out a .mov, I get an error message:
"no UVmap selected, select UVmap first, render failed" or something like that..

How do I select it within LW?

(this is a low poly character with a discontinuous texture)

thx in advance for input...

Anyways.. I can't figure out why LW is askin me to select a UVmap.. I've saved/rendered animations b4 and it hasn't come up..
Could it be a bug?
Will it be gone with LW8?
... any ideas appreciated..

Hi Turbo!

If we don't answer it's cuz we're dumb :D

Are you sure you don't have a Texture layer set to UVMap, without a map assigned or something?
