View Full Version : Following an exploded Object with Particles

Hi Discussion group,

my problem: I'd like to explode something, like Text or a simple four-sided area.

This happens with Texture Deplacement. After that, the parts of the exploded object are flying through the camera.

Now I'd like some smoke behind these parts. I've still tried to put a HVEmitter in the "Geometry" Tab of the exploding object, but the particles coming out there are too tumultuous and it doesn't look like the particles are coming from the exploded object's parts.

Any suggestions?

Here is a little example movie, watch it.
Nearly at the end there is the text "Believe us", which is morphing into some parts and coming thru the cam drawing some fire and smoke.
