While I am waiting to hear from the hospital (Sue is in for an operation to remove a wisdom tooth) I have been dooodling!

The resultant renders are pretty neat!

Nice render! I like nr.1 with caustics.
I hope Sue is O.K. I had 2 wisdoms tooths removed long ago (at the same time(ouch)....:D They sometimes grow in a strange direction and cause problems -and therefore have to be removed.

Thanks man, that exactly the reason she has to have it removed :/

Is there an demo out there that we can check out?
Im also into game making- check out our site. we do under 3 mgb games (for online sales) at the moment, but plan to go full 3d asap:)

i would realy like to see a demo if its posible?

03-22-2004, 06:36 AM
Hey dude.... there isn't a playable demo, but if you go to http://www.argonaut.com/microsites/powerdrome/index.htm there is a video of the game paly in the media section.

P.s. Chekcing out your site now!

P.p.s. What are they made in? They look pretty neat. I know puzzler type games are pretty popular with most people :)

tried to play the demo but was not succesfull- this is what i got with Opera, and when i tried internet explorer it opened a windows media player window but did nmot start playing the divix...
The graphics were made with LW, Photoshop and Photopaint- The programing was done in C++

glad you like the visual apeal- now try and download one:) I recommend the "caribbean puzzle"-
Light&Shadow is a bit harder to catch on-

The only plugin issue I can assume is a java script issue with Opera, I'd recommend reverting to good old IE for a minute to view the site instead.

Hey great render there and give Sue our best regards. Hope she recovers soon.

03-24-2004, 12:52 AM
as i wrote in my previous post- i tried it with IE-
It opened the windows media player but the divix did not start...

Cheers SI :)

Sorry veljko man, you did say that already! It might just take a while to download, I don't know if it streams or loads the whole thing from the net first? Also I guess check that you are quite up to date with DivX.

03-24-2004, 03:59 PM
I will,
i wanted to ask you- how did you capture the gameplay on a divx?
I would like to put my games on my demo reel and i had the idea of playing a bit in the game and somehow capture that and put it in the reel as an avi file.
How could i do this?

03-24-2004, 05:27 PM
A colleague of mine did the capture, and I believe he used a pinnacle cpature card (or somehting like that). Not sure how else it could be done though I'm afraid.
