View Full Version : R6025 Function Call error

Heads up to Newtek...

I have been getting several c++ runtime crashes with p4909us. The error is cited "R6025
-pure virtual function call"

MS Knowledge Base search shows it to be an error in the way the programming code is written. (Article #125749)
The error occurs intermittently when I try to play a section of a project on the timeline in TEd. That's the only action that has triggered the error, so far.

By any chance is it a part of the timeline that has a DVE?

I've been getting such a thing even with update 2. I've been trying to pin point a certain patern or repeatable steps. But it happens when it feels like it.

The only thing that I noticed is that it happens on a DVE.

Not always. It seems to happen right when I hit the spacebar to playback a recent change in the timeline.
Two things I should have mentioned, the error message does name "vt[3].exe" and also, after the crash the task manager indicates that vt3 is still running. I have to close it ("end process") and kill wnrtme.exe b4 I can restart the toaster.

Same here and it too happens to me when making minor changes repeatedly.
