How you set the lightning for interior animation(like Cathedral..) to make it in reallife? I know there is a Plugin Overcaster, but after a few experiment on it, it seems hard to get a satisfy result.
How about spinning spotlight or bake the cathedral, is it a good idea ? or do you have any others method for that?

:) :)

Radiosity is what would make it realistic, but if you are using the spinning light trick I assume you don't have large amounts of time for rendering.

I assume you've heard of Fprime (http://www.worley.com/fprime.html)

Yes, I heard last time, 20X faster then radiasity!!! Today is the last day for promotion in lower price hehe...

But spinning light trick also take long time for rendering? I never try it for animation, anyone here got experience for this? Can tell me more? Thanks a lot !:) :)

I think true radiosity is still too render intensive for most animation purposes, with Lightwave or Fprime. Good for stills, though.

Someone just started a thread (http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthread.php?threadid=19596) in the Community (http://vbulletin.newtek.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=18) section regarding spinning lights.
