It's the good news/bad news game!

Good News:
Apple DOES have a Lightwave page!

Bad News:
Er, it rambles on about LW6.5 and those newfangled multiprocessor G4's

and apple owns Filemaker, so its a good bet that the web page they have is simply cheap marketing.
the maya page is as outdated and simplistic as the LW page is.

Geez! Chuck, you need to take a break from 8 and update that page with the information about 8! If I were a Mac user looking at that I'd be a bit worried. I know at one point you mentioned getting it updated, but that one is three years old, and LW has come a long way since 6.5.

Good grief, they really DO need to get that page updated, especially with the imminent release of LightWave 8. Chuck, it's time to get on the phone with the apple.com webmasters!!

Several of us here have done that over the last couple of years, to no effect so far - but we'll keep trying.

Maybe some of us can bug Apple about it too.

Ok, I just sent them a website feedback to update the Lightwave portion.

I just looked around, and it wasn't too hard to find this link:

I have only recently switched to mac. Checked at Apple.com and figured NEWTAK has stopped developing LW for the MAC. I was a little blind, I admit, not to have seen the Apple logos on newtek´s page and looked into it, but I thought for a while the is no 7.5 for the mac. The more happy I was when I found out about it and cross-updatet from the WIN version. Still despite the Graph-Editor problem it is not as stable as the PC version. I hope this will change with 10.3.3 and LW8
