Does anyone know of a good tutorial that tells you how to model bullets in lightwave? I've heard it's simple but I just can't seem to get it right. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I don't know of any tuts, but modelling a bullet is quite simple.

Do you want to model just the head of the bullet or do you need to do the brass casing as well?

The easiest way would be to start with a disk and then bevel out one of the circular faces and keep re-beveling and making size adjustments as you go.

The other way would be to use the lathe tool.

Look up these functions in the LW manual and you should come right.

As far as surfacing goes, you could make use of the brass and metal presets in the Preset Shelf, but if you wanted more realism you would probably have to setup some gradients and use some custom maps.
