View Full Version : hypervoxels crash in Lightwave 6.5b

I am running lightwave 6.5b with hypervoxels 3.0 on a PC running windows 2000 Proffesional.

I have set up a scene that has about 480 nulls that need to be rendered as hypervoxels surfaces. When I run the render, Lightwave crashes (even the Viper preview crashes Lightwave). I've run hypervoxel surfaces on items with more than 500 points without problems, but with 480 nulls it crashes every time.

Aside from hypervoxels, the only other plug-in I am running is Follower.

Another note: When rendering the same scene with one-quarter of the number of nulls, it does not crash.

Additionally, I ran some more tests. The scene crashes even with just 240 nulls (half of the total), it still crashes.

Is there a limit to the number of seperate objects that Lightwave can handle with hypervoxels? Is there a setting I can adjust (like bounding box limit) that can allow Lightwave to handle the greater number of objects?

Any help would be appreciated.

Creidiki, you can run, but you can't hide. We will find you. ;)
