Hello, everyone,

three weeks ago I completed my second cg-project (after Kicker (http://atomfilms.shockwave.com/af/content/kicker)) and have finally found some time to make it available online.

It's a music video for the band Missouri (http://www.missourimusic.de) from Hamburg, Germany. I produced it in December and January with a few breaks (christmas etc). At the Moment the video is being reviewed by several music tv channels.

To watch the video (Quicktime, 15MB) and to read some production notes, follow this link:

These are also my first animations of characters with arms and legs - which is rather obvious sometimes. Because there was too little time to improve on this, I had to try and tell the story mostly through camera angles and editing (well, there are also the lyrics, of course).

I just finished watching both "Kicker" and this new music video. I have to say it is nice to see some imaginative non-photreal animations. :)
You prove once again, that story is king and technology is only a tool to tell it.

watching that music video (i watched Kicker, too) reminds me that its not ALL about the complex modeling/texturing/etc, but more about the uniqueness and creativity

nice :)

Im downloading the movie as i write.

Just an observation straight off the bat...Have you seen the video for DJ boulevard ( http://www.airplanerecords.com ) and another point of view...reminds me of that.

Ive just watched the video...:D:D:D

Love it...simple and effective, with great camera work.

There were some pieces of it that could of been improved, like when he's building the church..(am i spoiling the ending here????) and shifting the blocks...a little more emphasis on weight could have been added.

Anyway...I couldnt have done better. (im a backseat animator)

5stars from me.
