What happened to make you want to sell all this?

Don't have the time to use it anymore.

Use Max at work and find it hard to spend any time at home after staring at a computer all day at work.

Rather sell it than have it sit. I think it's an awesome price, wish I could've gotten it for that when I first got it.

Here's an example of a person who "might" have kept his copy of LW if [8] had released on time.

But... I could be 100% wrong too and am sure he could let me know that.

Well..maybe..heh

Looks like I might be stuck with it after all, haven't had much any bites, which truthfully baffles me because that's an incredible deal. Everybody must have a copy already I guess.

That is indeed an awful lot of software and training material for the price. Maybe just a matter of time before the right person sees it.

Try the LW-DISC group and the newsgroups.

Excellent deal. $1000 is very, very reasonable. Shouldn't take more than a week to sell it.

His loss if that's the case. I thought he had just said he uses Max at work and doesn't have time to use Lightwave much.

Yes Ade, you can buy a paper manual for an additional $100 which comes with the CD and shiny new box.

If it doesn't sell here within a few weeks, try eBay.

You may even get more than $1,000 on eBay.

Which modules of DFX+ does that come with?

I may just have someone interested.

Have you checked with DFX regarding the transfer of license? I just went through this with them and they wanted $195 to transfer the license, plus $95 for a new dongle.

What i plan to do is buy LW 7.5, get LW8 and box and book and then sell LW7.5 to my friend whose starting off for a minimal fee.

Ade do you have two licenses for LightWave? If not, you won't be able to sell your old copy.

Ade, "What i plan to do is buy LW 7.5, get LW8 and box and book and then sell LW7.5 to my friend whose starting off for a minimal fee."

Well that'll be a neat trick...
not only is that illegal, but without the dongle 7.5 isn't going to work. If it does, you'll more than likely be guilty of a little more than a licensing issue.
