Since the daily vitamin was not delivered by Dr. Seuss, err, I mean, Dr. Proton, I started to reviev the "old" vids before 5 of the new promised ones will arrive tomorrow (I hope it will not be ...delayed).

Re Arbitrary rendering: I would like to have a feature like this one: 1-60 cam1, 80-90 cam2.

Do you think that in LW8 workaround I will be able to set up the "second" camera by moving it in say frames 61-79 to a desired position/angle and setting rendering arbitrarily as: 1-60, 80-90 to achieve two camera shots?

I don't think they will implement camera switch during render, but you should be able to render the 2nd unit camera after the first finishes.

If they do add this feature then it would be nice.

I believe there is an Lscript that will let you switch cameras during a render. Check on flay.com.

Let me be more clear. Yes there is a LScript that does something like it.

but I don't think Newtek will implement a Camera Switch into Lightwave 8.

The script was written by a German guy, if I recall well, had some probs.

The workaround will not give you a different zoom in "second" camera, therefore perhaps in the future they can do it if ppl think it is useful.
