View Full Version : Emailed back from Worley about F Prime- Some questions answered

I summarised all our questions and sent them to Worley, they only would answer a few-

Hello Adrian,

Sorry, we're unable to answer most of your questions at the moment, but they
will be answered on our website as time goes by .

* Whats the minimum hardware support?

No special hardware is needed. for FPrime. The demo scenes were made on an
Athlon purchased early in 2003. The video card is a GeForce4 Ti 4200/64 MB

* Will there be a lite version in lightwave 8?

* Do you need beta testers?

The beta team is full up at the moment.

I even got those specs.. Could it be that fast!
I wish they would switch the LW and FP render. So we can see the differences. If there are any.

Anyway, worley did it again. Total ownage.

NT should buy worley for god sake.

They did compare the two renders in the first video with the raytrace demo.

Newtek probably couldn't afford Worley and Worley probably likes to be independant.

No then we would never see the cool plugins in a timely release manor.

Buying out doesnt always work...to the benefit of all.

What Newtek should do is get an online shop up and feature worley like crazy.. Even create packages at special prices with worley stuff in it.

Yes that would be wise. This is going to make Lightwave not only alot more useable but more popular to users of other software as well. Also this will help sell Lightwave more than 8 will. :D

Sometimes I wish Worley would by Lightwave.

And sometimes I'd agree with you on that.

Why does anyone have to buy anyone....I like that the two are seperate....after all these tools are going to be available for us to use....that is all that matters to me.

I don't care who owns what...as long as I can own both LightWave and Fprime I'm happy :)

ME too. But the key word is own and when. :D
