Sorry for unleashing such a barrage of questions! I just love this animation stuff. It's going to do wonders for our station.

Now, the question: Why is my camera so big? I have a 5m grid, which seems normal.


Here is a shot from Perspective mode:

And here is what the camera sees. Notice that the camera lens is poking through the text, but what it sees, is standing back from it a bit. Also, the camera's Zoom Factor is set to 1.6.

Use the [ and ] keys to change the grid size. This will effect the size of how your camera is drawn as well as lights, nulls, and of course, the grid.

This will make no difference in how LW renders, it's just a user interface thing. You'll also notice that when you grid size is smaller, you get more precise control over object movement.

Changing the grid size is handy when you load up a spaceship and then a planet. You'll want a large grid size if you want to move your camera back to see your planet, or a smaller grid size if you are moving about the ship.

Reverse the order you loaded in your objects. Load small one first. The camera sizes off of the first object loaded in layout.

:cool: pictures are taken at the film plane and not at the lense^^
