I don't think I ever posted the finished model that I did this past summer. It's the Tim Burton Batmobile. I kind of gave up on it because I wasn't able to do it all with subpatches and I ended up freezing it so that I could boolean all the detail into it. I'd like to do it again sometime all with subpatches. But this is what I ended up with. Here it is untextured:

And a few different finished renderings. I'm not the best at car surfacing....

Another render...

Personally, I always preferred the original Batmobile. ;)

But...really nice mesh ! Youve done a great job on it.

As for the surfacing, the 2nd render is the nicer of the two I think.

like the second render more because the black comes out better.
you should do a HDRI render of it
if you need any help contact me, i'm always glad to help out.

but none the less...
very cool

keep 'm coming

Yes I agree, the last render is the best. The surfacing is great.

Very nice modelling (can't think why you'd want to do it again - there's nothing wrong with this one).

Good work.

Looks great!
(Personally, I'm still wretched with cars -- so you'll get no criticism from me:D )

Because it's the challenge of it to model it with subpatches. I found it difficult to do all the small seams and panels with sub-d's so that's why I froze it in the first place so I could boolean it all. But Lewis showed me how he does everything with subpatches on his cars, even down to the keyhole. He rocks.

Now where's George Clooney? :)

Great work hrgiger. I wondered how that turned out.
