Does Dynamic Effect overwrite existing keyframes if you alter the main characters animation then run the effect again?

I want it now! :D

Looks cool but I have one question:
With the bone dynamics isn't there a way to have the bones be affected in real time like with the other forms of dynamics?

What I mean is that, if for instance I don't like the way it looks, do I have to undo it? Delete the keyframes? Load the scene the way it was before?

With the other forms of dynamics it does the calculations and modifys the geometry accordingly instead of creating keyframes.

BTW, for anyone interested in an Invert Connected option now, you can download this LScript:

InvCon.zip (http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/Plugins/InvCon.zip)

Just for those who are impatient. :)

Hehe...
well done Kvaalen!

Thanks a lot! ;)

Good questions... here's another...
Can the dynamic effect be applied to each "ear bone" at the same time Or do you have to do do each bone individually?

Will this be LScriptable (is this a new term???)

Will it interact with Elastic Body Models and Collision Dynamics?

***********

I am convinced that "missMoCap.mov" used this effect (natural hair bounce). How about a video showing how that was animated? And add a little wind effect in the hair just for fun. That video would be worth waiting a few days for.

************
p.s. An undo may be nice... but saving the scene and reloading it if the effect isn't right would work fine for me.

************

pps. I'm only familiar with Lightwave and this new stuff seems so very cool. I'm curious.... is this leading edge stuff or is this more like catchup to other software? Don't get me wrong... I'm kinda an insanely committed LW fanatic that was wondering if other animators were already using these ultra-cool features.

I'm no animator so I prob. am totally wrong but all them keyframes produced by the bone dynamics looks quite insane, espec. if it were a few hundred frames...

Would this not be better done through Expressions ??? Wouldn't this be easy to do aswell using expressions ???

Is it possible to limit the bone dynamics to only one or two of the bone's channels? (Pitch or Pitch and Heading)

One situation that comes immediately to mind are those little caps on the top of a vertical exhaust pipe on a deisel truck. When the pipe belches out smoke, the cap opens up and bounces around on a hinge joint.

Thank you.
