View Full Version : Lighting Problems

I have developed a problem with adding lights to a scene.

If I add additional lights (by choosing ADD LIGHT or by cloning), none of the lights work except the original light in the scene. If I delete the original light, the second light added or cloned will work.

I am hoping that I have overlooked some simple solution, but I have searched the manual, looked at every menu and panel. I cannot find any option that I may have inadvertently turned on or off.

I have even tried trashing the Lightwave Preferences without success.

I have been able to use multiple lights before, so I would think I've done something wrong. But, for the life of me, I can't figure it out!

Can somebody, anybody help?

There may be someone here that can help, but you've posted in the VT forum, not the LW forum.

If you mean you add lights, move them from their default position, and do not see their effect in the interactive Layout window(s), then I think your problem is that you need to raise the Max OpenGL Lights setting in the Display Options panel (d on the keyboard.)

Otherwise, I've got no idea what's up...
