Hi there!!!!

Does LW collision objects ignore bones??? If not... how can it be solved that the following scene can work:

(By the way the particles represent.... snow.)

If I'm not misunderstanding your request, you can pre-order LW[8] upgrade!

Take a look here:
Bone Dynamics

Bye.

yeah, I knew, some neat features in LW8. But I think I'll buy the upgrade when it releases, I'm not the kind of "Pre-Order guy"

But it's too bad LW7 doesn't have it..

Thanks

ruud- I think the problem lies in the order that the emitter plug-in is applied...If im' not mistaken the emiiter plugin is applied before any kinda of deformation takes place. I say that cause i'm having a similier problem with a Endomorphed collision object.

if that is the case then the only fix for it would be to hack the order they are applied. Let me know if you find a fix ;)

Cheers,

A pre-order kind of guy

You want the particles to bounce of a deforming (bones, morphs, whatever) mesh, right? Then you need to press FX_Start to let the FX engine play through the animation once and to do it's full calculations.
