I posted this in the DF gallery but no one ever goes there so I thought I would try it here ----- Well here is a shot I did for the VFX contest on Vfx talk. It was all done in Digital Fusion except the space ship which was done in Lighwave(and a content directory one at that) and a little matte painting I did in Aura. Its not the greatest but tell me what you think :-)

I thought it was pretty cool. Kind of on par with the visual effects you see on movies made for the sci fi channel. The only immediate crits are that the ship was pretty basic and it would have been more realistic with some moving footage in the background, like some wind in the trees.

it works for me---try right click save as---or try this one---Jake thanks---As for the ship the contest ends in a few days and I started on saturday so I had to make it really fast--that said i think I will tweak it just for fun--thanks alot

Pretty cool.
Buy ya should blown up one of those houses. Right now, one just wonders if the aliens have something agains asphalt. ;)

But yeah, I thought it was well done. As Jake said, SciFi opp.

Hey I think you missed the truck that it shrinks. Its not attacking the asphault!! :-) thanks for the comments.

Your image must be 100 by 100 pixels or 20000 bytes (whichever is smaller).
