I am going to build a new VT2 system for our church, and I have looked at the recommended specs for the ultimate workstation, that include a rambus solution system. Instead, I am planning on building the system using a dual 2.4 Xeon DDR Intel E7505 based motherboard. The dual DDR chipset (Supermicro X5DA8 motherboard) actually has a higher memory bandwidth than the 860 based solution recommended.

Is there any reson this should not work? I can't think of any.

Thanks in advance...

Bryan

Using that exact setup, and I'm loving it! It's AWESOME :)

That will rock your congregation, Bryan.
The E7505 is a great chipset with Toaster.
