I've been using a reverse foot setup for a while now, but have always found it fiddly when the trailing leg has to lift from the ground (when the weight is on the ball).

I always find this transition from rotating the foot up onto the ball, and then lifting the foot using the heel null causes a nasty stutter in what should be a smooth ankle motion (and this normally shows up in the knee/thigh area).

I think the main problem I have is that finding a reverse foot setup tutorial is pretty easy, but just try finding a tutorial on using it with walk cycles !

Does anyone have a better technique, and what are the advantages / disadvantages of reverse foot over inverse foot ?

I have the same problems with more complex setups, especially reverse foot. I think its a problem with LW not really knowing how to solve with multiple goals, it get confused. You can use the stiffness and the goal strength to reduce the stuttering but I don't know how to get rid of it completely.
