This is great news!
I would have expected it to become a longer series though.
I really liked the effects which were top notch and the story was better than I expected it to be. Maybe I was just surprised pelasently after the very low expectations that I had originally.
I still like the old series better, but I think that Galactica was actually the best piece of SciFi I have seen for a long time.
Could just as well have been a real movie in cinema IMHO.
I still think Cylons that look like humans were not a too great idea though...

I would like more (non-human) cylons..
but I cant wait for the show.. hopefully it will last more than 6 episodes..

Im about halfway through my DVD set of the original series..
I understand things better now that im not watching it at the age of 10 :)

This is great news. The show was good (though very diff to the original 70s version) . As with Firefly, Zoic Studios did an excellent job on the effects (all LW of course) . I hope this six episode commitment will eventually lead to a full blown 24 ep series.
