View Full Version : overlay color

hello; I am using an animation preview as my final presentation instead of a rendering as I actually like the preview;

however in preview there are two vertical bars in the right and left margin; these bars are referred to as the "overlay"; in the display options the color of the overlay can be changed but I would like to remove them completely;

in the manual, 6.38, very little is mentioned on the subject;

any thoughts on how to remove them?

dumb, but fast and simple solution is to deform a lw window until that bar disappear from left and right, check that you haven't restrict too much to show upper and bottom bar, than build a preview.

when lw build its preview it utilize all part of display area to do a faster preview building. it's useful be cause you can see also when obj are near to enter in scene, or similar.

the bar are useful to see exactly what lw can render, and what is out of scene.

another solution is to crop it in you editing application.

hello pixelinfected;
those are both good ideas;
I had debated on a post production time in Premier but would obviousely rather a simpler way but maybe the Premier cropping method will not be that bad;
thanks for your response

You could also adjust the camera resolution to fit.
