View Full Version : Transfer funds to another LW Artist?

Ok here is the deal I may hire out some 3d work and need to know how best to transfer funds from Texas to Italy or some such place. How would I best pay – get funds to - those I hire on a project?

Most likely it will be a one time deal so easy and quick is what I need. Any tax government issues that you know I need to know about? Just need to know how best to send the money – pay pal, wire transfer, a brown bag full of cash via U.S. postal?

It will be by the piece and most likely 50% upfront and 50% the rest on delivery.
Total amount is a few hundred dollars. Anyone have much experience in this and got this worked out.

I also have a poetry contest that I need to make good on.

I use Paypal for many places 'cept Russia. Italy should be ok, and it's fast. Just pay bank to bank, you should be cool.

Some banks with an internet banking function allow you to transfer funds like that.

Most banks can do an over-the-counter international money transfer.

Your post office might be able to write out an international money order.

Companies like Western Union (http://www.westernunion.com/index_consumer.asp?country=US) exist just to transfer money. They'll charge a fee, though.
