It's not Lightwave (and NOT my work for that matter) but I love the imagination that's gone into these models. This work was apparently show in the Australian Pavillion at the Venice Biennale.

Check it out at http://www.patriciapiccinini.net/wearefamily/index.php

Weirded out.

Those are some incredibly imaginative creatures, like some sort or mixture of apes, pigs, and dogs maybe.

Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I think she's interested in genetic engineering. So maybe so hybrid crossbread, part human part monkey part dog. Sounds scary :)

I like this series as well

Give a new perspective to the beauty industry.

Now those are weird. Put a human and a dog in the Transport chamber from the Fly and you get a Hudog.

Cheers,

that is a really nicest link to weirdo girls.... I understand in a way.... every morning, I am looking at myself in the mirror, and saying, "alleluia, I'm weird !"

I love also the truck babies.... Asian Girls have this very special sensi-bility.

Thanks for the link Riki-O'

Hey Herve glad you liked it.

One of the galleries I work for showed some of her stuff a few years ago. They also recently had a porn show with some interesting 3D/CG.

Of course "not suitable for children or those disturbed by sexual imagery." But interesting and something different none-the-less.

I'd love to know how the skin wrinkles were done in the first picture of the suckling ape-pig.

great stuff. I especially like the Car Nuggets. I could go on and on why I like it but I'd probably just sound like I'm regurgitating my art criticism schooling ;)

No sure?? I think a mixture, my guess is fibreglass for the car nuggets. Soounds like something from KFC.
