I am trying to create a panoramic image of the sky for a flash
animation. The image needs to be 3080x120.
I have setup the scene exactly the way I would like it to look and
can get it to render fine at 770x120 (please see Image 1)
however after I change the camera size to 3080x120 the render
results look strange (please see Image 2).
The clouds were created using Hypervoxels. and the sky is skytracer with all clouds disabled.
I have tried rendering with many different zoom factors as
well as moving the backing the camera really really far
away from the clouds to no avail.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

These are volumetric sampling errors. This may be related to the aspect ratio you chose. Did play around with anti-aliasing? I also would try to move the cam the tiniest bit on its local Z-axis and then turn on motion blur.

Hi, that's a pretty extreme ratio you're trying to use, I think you'll get bad distortion whatever you'd try. I think you'd be better off using a camera horizontal field of view angle of 90deg, then rotate the camera 90deg and make another render and stitch the 2 together.

Thanks for the help. Using a camera horizontal field of view angle of 90deg did the trick. I redered out 4 frames turning the camera 45 degrees on each render and then stitched it in Pshop.
