I'm working on my first rather complicated figure and I am having a lot of problems with Bone Weights.

I started the Weight Map for the tip of the ring finger. Here's the weight map:

Its hard to see, but the finger jumps off the bone in layout. All other bones are set to a weightmap with 0 value. Just to keep it clean while I figure out the problem.

Any ideas? I'm new at doing weight maps and am stuck at the moment. I'm walking away from it for a littel while, clear my head.

Alright, all better. This is what happens when you forget to set the rest position of bones.
