I was searching, how can I put an area light, with two side lighting in LW 2019.03, but i couldn't find it.

If anybody know how. I will appreciate it.

Thanks

It's not there AFAIK. Clone your area light and scale it -1.00 on all axis and parent it to the first one, deselect the the eyeball in the Scene Editor and lock it and you have your two sided area light.

I was glad to see that feature go. Didn't like the effect it had on the lighting. Bad default behavior.

No problem. You can easily make a script that that can automate some of this using LScript Commander. It will even install it for you. Attached is a quick sample. I never liked the default behavior in previous versions but at least in the later versions of LW they had a toggle for one sided area lights. Not sure why they couldn't add the toggle back in, but make it default to one sided instead of the two it had been forever. That way if there was a need (as you apparently have) it would be a quick check box to turn it on.

Tim, send it as Feature Request so they have it in the system.

For ****'s sake, this should be a switch. Come on. A universal setting.

I really liked this feature, then needed it for my current job and found it was gone. Very frustrating.
