if you watch this, you will see a lot of what is missing in layout.

the ones that stand out for me are the deformations, snapping and good gizmos allowing single viewport layout.

it’s a lot easier to watch a vid to get an idea of a feature request over instead of explaining so have a watch.

of course, only useful if devs read these forums. i think they do?

what I see on this video is node which is generating temporary mesh based on edges, and then subtracting from original mesh, which gives illusion of damage on edges..

Without history/modifier stack - no go. At least not dynamically.

haha yes, ignore the plugin itself, that part doesn’t matter.

i'd use the edge node and a procedural attached, +other stuff.

better, since it is a non-destructive workflow.

yeah but do you see what's missing from layout? ignore the plugin/rocks/content, just look at the general process.
