Need to dirty up some glass... smudges, precipitation stains/ residue etc. Can't find any info on using the new inputs. Is the Dielectric node the way to go with this or should I use the PBSDF node? What do you guys do... Thanks for the directional input.

I would probably do the surfaces in 3d coat.
Then send back to LW.

I'm using 3d Coat 4.7.23 and this version doesn't really support transparent surfaces. If it did what, would I just use the PBSDF node instead of Dielectric node to attach the maps to?

Id use principled.

For dirt grime, you can just use an alpha in the transparency. For water/droplets, use bump, normal or better yet displacement. For sticky finger smudges, make a smudge map that goes to the ior and roughness channels, with a bit of procedural noise blended in.
