I keep getting and error when loading the scenes from the original site. NodeTexture error. I have all of denis's plgins installed.

Node Texture from DP Kit has not been updated since LW native has its own node editor for that,
the legacy Node Texture is still on my site, bottom of DP Kit menu,
so this should be loaded in LW 2015 exporting node setup and reloaded in LW 2018-19.

Thank you so much! I've been planning on trying out water effects but I can't afford RealFlow or DeepRising.

Thank you so much! I've been planning on trying out water effects but I can't afford RealFlow or DeepRising.
I used it routinely back when I was freelancing for The Asylum a few years ago. If you check out my reel from that period (https://vimeo.com/209695539), almost any time you see an ocean surface up close (like in the shot with the mini-sub breaking water,) I animated it using HOT Ocean in Lightwave. (In wide ocean shots, the water is just a plane with crumple...old school but still effective.) HOT is not a dynamics system like Deep Rising, but the quality of its mesh displacement is a very credible cheat.

Tip: if you render to a network, be sure to bake HOT Ocean to MDD first.
