View Full Version : Push a balloon through a tube Help.

I have an artery and want to push a catheter though the artery and have the artery bend the catheter with a balloon tip on it as it passes through the artery. I know I've seen a demo of an object being used to deform/squish another but can't remember how to do it.

If you want the artery to stretch a little because of the balloon, here's a William Vaughan video on doing so with the Effector displacement modifier:

BTW, researching arterial catheters for repairing plaqued areas in an artery, the balloon to expand the artery isn't inflated until the catheter is in the plaqued area. A couple of existing animations:
