Hi!

I would like to inform that following TrueArt plug-ins were updated to work with LightWave 2019:

Global Materials 2019 http://globalmaterials.trueart.eu

Batch Baking Camera 2019 http://batchbakingcamera.trueart.eu

TrueType Text 2019 http://truetypetext.trueart.eu

If you're 2018 versions owner, update is free of charge.
If you've older versions pre-2018, please contact me through website contact page (http://www2.trueart.pl/?URIType=Directory&URI=Contact), or by e-mail.

Best Regards!

Nice. You could do new tutorial showing baking normal map with using your Batch Baking Camera and new rounded edge shader in LW 2019 and put baked texture in Substance Painter on normal map channel.

Purchased your TrueTypeText plugin, since LW2019 still doesn't have procedural text it's an important extension.

VirtualRoom 2019
compatible with LightWave 2019
http://virtualroom.trueart.eu
(It's vRoom-clone node-only tool for exterior archviz artists)

EasySpline
http://easyspline.trueart.eu
has been confirmed to work flawlessly with LightWave 2019.
EasySpline allows user to see preview of spline cage in spline modeling technique without actually freezing to the real geometry.
EasySpline also has many tools operating on splines. e.g. Spline Lathe, Spline Extrude etc.

cool, @sensei - is it possible to have TrueWeld converted to x64 please?

TrueWeld, it's prehistoric plug-in made in 2007. I don't have its source codes anymore. If you will buy one of my other plugins, I will try to recreate this tool from scratch..

I tried to check the all tools from TrueArt's Modeling Pack
http://modelingpack.trueart.eu
and can't find anything which is causing obvious problems (like crashes) with LW 2019.

If you found something not working as expected, please write to me.

Hello Sensei,
I am curious, how would one get hold of the updated plugins? I heavn´t gotten an email or so...
Cheers!

hey, thanks for that. I haven't forgotten about this :)
Just waiting for the right time/deciding on plugin to purchase.

I know this feature exists in the ODtools but i found the plugin speedy.
I'd probably say, if it was recreated to not destroy UV's if the possibility was there, depending on geo/time to author that functionality etc.

Question: if I combined TrueArt's EasySpline (USD 75.00) with Syflex or ClothFX can I simulate the same tailoring approach as Marvelous Designer (USD 50.00 monthly subscription/ USD 300.00 annually)?

I am unfamiliar with M.D. to answer your question.
EasySpline is kinda like yet another sub-patching algorithm, but instead of relying on polygonal cage, it's analyzing splines and where they cross each other in proper way, there is made virtual and later true spline patch.
It's mainly used for the first stage of making cars, airplanes, etc. objects.

From what I've seen online EasySpline can lay out the parts of clothing similar to how M.D. does it. I'm just hoping for some confirmation to that end although I would love to use EasySpline to make machines too. I assume we can still make weight maps to whatever is made with EasySpline once the polygons are done.

Hard to predict.
I would think Push (http://www2.trueart.pl/?URIType=Directory&URI=Products/Plug-Ins/Push)together with EasySpline would be better than EasySpline alone,
as Push is designed to project geometry from primary layer to background layer to conform it (in perspective viewport)..

Thanks. That would be useful if I were creating tight clothing.

The push tool needs a youtube or vimeo publication to demonstrate it rather than having to download it and play it, I think you may have it kind of displayed in another video on your youtube channel, but I think it would be wise to put it up to showcase as
the tool itself, it helps also if you search for it on your channel.

Also..would be nice to compare it somehow to heatshrink in terms of what it can do better and smoother in workflow etc, maybe you should re-record it as well, since the quality of the downloaded animation is quite bad.

Would be interesting to see how much smoother it would work for retopo stuff in modeler with for instance the line pen and then use the push tool vs heatshrink.
