I'm just wondering what some of the best software and services are for creating and publishing 360 VR panoramas that others here use or have discovered. Here's a couple free ones that I've found so far that seem decent enough. It's always good to have plenty of options though.

I also noticed that Kolor recently stopped developing Panotour and nolonger sells it.

If you want to do more than just map an environment image on the inside of a sphere, consider Blend4Web.

https://www.blend4web.com/en/

I export content from LW into Blender (for example: a tradeshow booth design), then export from Blender to web. This is available in paid Pro version or free Community Edition. The easiest route is just to add the <4 MB Blender add-in ( https://www.blend4web.com/en/downloads/ ) instead of installing the 1.4 GB package in the CE (community edition) download. The Blend4Web player lets the user rotate/dolly through a 3D object/set, like a Sketchfab viewer.

Depending on what you want to do, Glycon for LW's (https://www.liberty3d.com/Glycon/) new virtual set capabilities might be helpful as well.

We have used playcanvas and Unity for ours.

I like Round.me for its simplicity.

Example (made in LightWave + Ubercam):

I've used krpano on a couple of projects on wordpress sites

and works pretty well for our purposes.

Works with the VR headsets we have and is pretty easy to implement.

Back in the day I used the Panosaurus mount for my tripod, but it looks like that's no longer available.

For software, I've usedPanoweaver (http://www.easypano.com/panorama-software.html)

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but for creating interactive panorama photos it works very well.

After looking at all the different options out and there I ended up liking this one much better than the ones I was currently using.
