Tried streaming on FB Live today. While I know I selected the proper settings of 1280 X 720. My stream was pixelated (very low-res) and I am assuming that it's the limits imposed by Facebook, not the TC.

Do I need to enlist the help of a UStream or Vimeo type of service to get a full-HD stream out of my unit and onto the web?

Thanks,
Jeff

What Tricaster do you have? Advanced Edition Software?
We do Facebook live a lot at 1280 x 720 @ 1536k and it looks fine

If you want to try with your own streaming profile, here are the Facebook specs.

To Live stream on Facebook, follow these video format guidelines:
Recommended max bit rate is 4000 Kbps (4 mbps).
Max: 720p (1280 x 720) resolution, at 30 frames per second.
An I-frame (keyframe) must be sent at least every 2 seconds throughout the stream.
Titles must have fewer than 255 characters or the stream will fail.
H264 encoded video and AAC encoded audio only.

I've encountered this issue as well... It's not TERRIBLE but it does seem like it should be a bit better quality....

I have recently been playing around with streaming 1080 at the highest setting and it looks fantastic. You probably need a decent connection to stream out that quality I take it though? Compared to 720 specs, is it something more like 8mbps?
