View Full Version : Livetext export

An on-going weekly show we produce just started having problems with Livetext exporting their credit roll. They have been using the same roll in Livetext but now when they export to avi, the file resolution is 720x1080 and no alpha. The session is 1080/60i 16:9. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed in the settings.
In fact, creating a new session with a new credit roll produces the same file res. and the same on another computer running Livetext.
I fell I'm missing something.
Any ideas?

When I got to export a crawl or roll, there is a drop down at the bottom of the window to choose the resolution of the exported file. I'm looking at the standalone LiveText.

The resolution of the export file is the same as before. I'm not at work but I think it is 1080/60i 16:9. This happens on both Livetext in the studio. On the Tricaster and on a computer that can be linked to the Tricaster. I'm wondering if the Tricaster is locked on a setting that's affecting Livetext. A previous client was using a 24p session last week.
Any way to reset the settings? Besides reinstalling Tricaster?

Try using the 'Export Current Page' instead of 'Send Current Page To Live'

The Live option has the resolution set to the session, but the Export option will allow you to choose.

Thanks again Kane. We do "export to current page" in AVI. In our other studio, Livetext is behaving correctly. I'm seeing a difference in the codec of the file. The correct one is using SHQ3. not sure of the bad one as the studio is in use. Maybe a windows update put the screws to this system?

reloaded the Newtek codec from the website. All good.
