This stuff is kinda fun:

But, I was wondering, what software do you think he uses? The illumination model has a certain look that I associated with early CGI, maybe Poser, and that one 3D uv painting software that always intrigued me but I never purchased (it was always "Mac-priced" imo). I believe it was associated with the Strata© folks.....?? :stumped:

Thanks. I poked around the site but didn't see any specific stuff, but I didn't read the blog.

The book ("Slaves of the...") was fun, and the illustrations are... interesting, especially the Raygun Gothic styling, but the lighting and surfacing are, TBH, rubbish. That's why I thought it was Poser or something similar (whatever that might be). In particular, one character who is described as tall and slender seems to be just some generic character mesh, scaled up, so the illustrations of him just do not read "tall and slender" at all.

The robots and spaceships are fine though.

Poked some more, still haven't found it, although I totally believe you.

This guy is awesome! Don't know why I never heard of him. Wish I knew sooner.

I wish him well, but...those textures... those expressions...
