Is there any easy way to tint an entire object?

I have my object, made up of many polys and many different surfaces, with lots of different uv maps, and a few procedurals - and basically I want everything to be a lot whiter. Right now it's fairly realistic, and I want it all to be more like a sketch of reality. Except of course for my hero object which I want to still look real, so I can't easily do the effect to the whole frame in AE. I still want DP soft lights, and reflection, and every thing I got, I just want to easily play with tinting the whole environment...?
