View Full Version : Odd Render with Sphere

I've never had this happen, a sphere rendered as an oval. The preview window is correct the result are not. I thought maybe I hit an key while typing that made this happen. Double checked the camera and render setting everything appears normal.

The object aspect ratio is wonky any ideas?

The viewer is probably showing you square pixels, while you have a non-square render setting.

Your render window shows the pixel aspect ratio is not 1:1 (you have 1.0667 instead of 1.0). You can change that in the camera settings.

It is odd that the render preview does not honor the PAR so you might file a bug report if this is important to you. It may have been overlooked because there may be little use for PAR as we move farther from NTSC.

The PAR between the preview window and final render do not match in either 2015 or 2018. It does in older versions.

Yup that was it, I must have hit a number key and not realized it, thanks guy for the help
