am curious to know if anyone can recommend a website that sells good Lightwave format models, specifically of fictional type spacecraft. I have used Viewpoint in the past but can't find exactly what I need from them.

thanks in advance for you help

that's a great link, thanks, but unfortunately, this is for a real project and I can't use models that (a) already exist for another tv show or movie or (b) I do not have the rights to use.

So can anyone recommend a model library cd or webiste where I can get generic spaceship models that I can either use straightaway or alter slightly to make my own for a real project? I can't use anything that is recognizeable like ships from Babylon 5 etc.

So you need custom models? You can try Zygote. Their website is www.zygote.com and they do good work. If they can't do it try us at www.daz3d.com We do custom work on occasion, but I don't know what their criteria (criterium??) is.
