Hi Folks.

I am trying to create a sliding joint that moves back and forth at a 45degree angle. The problem is I can't get the movement axis to align. When I select rotate pivot, I get the circular pivot axis and I rotate them 45degrees and it looks good (though one of the axis doesn't want to move???). But with them turned 45degrees to match the object I want to slide which is also at 45degrees, when I click on Move, the axis turn into the straight arrow axis but they are still horizontal and vertical, they are not at 45degrees.

I tried using a null, turning it 45degrees with the intension being to parent the sliding object to the null, but again, the axis rotate 45degrees, but when I click on Move, I get horizontal and vertical axis, not 45degree axis.

Can anyone help me out with this please?

Sounds like you're in World Coordinates and should be in Local or Parent
