I don't know about you, but when I'm using Layout, I'm mostly dealing with Objects, Lights, Cameras, and occasionally, Bones.

Philosophically, un-altered hotkeys (unShifted, unCTRLed, unALTed) should be used for the most common functions.

So, I'd like to know: who uses "Option" more than they use "Objects"?


The hotkey defaults are absolute rubbish. "Motion Mixer" on F2? C'monnnnnn. :( :grumpy: :mad:

I agree, by and large; that's why I just put all of my most oft-used items in the right-click menu.

It doesn't solve the shortkey issue, but especially when I'm in modeler, a simple ctrl+shift_RMB and I can select quick cut, select loop, action center mouse / selection, bandsaw, etc.

For some reason I've never warmed up to mouse menus. My failure, that.

But, I really want to know: what effed up thought processes lead to using shifted hotkeys for probably THE most used functions? It's messed up, and I just know some brainiac with a ******* masters in CS is sniffling into his neckbeard muttering "no it's not!!!".
