Not sure where this is going to lead.. but I made two quick videos that were based on two questions I received today. I posted it here in general as well as the python part of the forum, for the specific reason of reaching "non scripters"..

Thanks Oliver, that was great - not that I understand Python, but you made it seem somehow more "doable". I noticed that Ryan Roye made the jump to master Python for LW, as did William Vaughan (for Modo), so it does look worth tackling at any level. If these videos did indeed develop into any kind of series, it would be invaluable. Thanks again. :)

Thanks Oliver.
Funny thing is, I script in lots of other places and packages BUT not in LW. Maybe I should work that into my to do list :D

And letting people know a nice little IDE is now available for free on both Win and Mac called Visual Studio Code that should be just fine for Python coding and debugging. I'm using it on Mac and Win on a Node.js project right now and it works great for that.

Thank you. I've watched the first video and it is very nicely presented. I dropped back on Python and LW scripting but want to get back into it. I've been experiencing MaxScript as of late.

Thanks! I like that you presented how one should find the methods and interfaces and all in the index.
